HOTWIN operates this website to present our automation equipment and to let visitors contact us. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We have kept it short and factual.

1. Who we are

HOTWIN is a manufacturer and supplier of automation equipment for electronics assembly, based in Shenzhen, China. For any question about this policy or your data, contact martin.ma@hotwintech.com.

2. What we collect

• Information you send us. When you use the contact form or email us: your name, company, email address, telephone number (if provided), country and the content of your message.
• Basic usage data. Our pages record an anonymous visitor identifier, stored in your browser's local storage, together with the page address you viewed. It is used only to understand which pages are visited. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build advertising profiles.
• Technical data. As with any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and request time in order to deliver the pages and protect the service.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and provide technical support — this is the main purpose.
• To understand which products and pages interest visitors, so that we can improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and to meet our legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

Where you contact us, we process your data because it is necessary to respond to your request and because we have a legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). For anonymous usage statistics we rely on our legitimate interest in improving the site.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, hosting and site security.
• Our email service provider — used to receive and store enquiry emails.
• Google Fonts — the site loads the "Inter" typeface from Google's servers, which receives your IP address.

Enquiries may be handled by our staff and, where relevant, by our distributors or service partners in your region, strictly for the purpose of answering your request.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and our business relationship, and is deleted on request. Anonymous usage statistics are retained only for a limited period.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland or another jurisdiction with similar rules, you may ask us to:

• provide a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your data;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• provide your data in a portable format.

Write to martin.ma@hotwintech.com and we will respond as soon as possible, normally within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, for example on Cloudflare's global network. Where required, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising cookies. Our CDN provider may set a security cookie to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. We store one anonymous visitor identifier in your browser's local storage for aggregated statistics only; you can clear it at any time in your browser settings, and doing so does not affect the functionality of the site.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
