The HT-FS651C is an AOI soldering robot that solders on the front and inspects on the rear. A 6-axis stepper gantry covers 570 x 800 mm and a 20 MP camera checks for insufficient, excessive, bridged, missing and balled solder at ±0.02 mm repeat accuracy.

The HT-FS651C combines soldering and automated optical inspection in one cell: the product is soldered at the front station and inspected from the rear with a 20 MP camera, so a bad joint is caught in the same handling step instead of at final test. The AOI looks for insufficient solder, too much solder, solder bridges, missing solder and solder balls.
A 6-axis stepper gantry covers 570 x 800 x 100 mm plus 360° rotation, letting the head approach a joint from an angle rather than only from above. Repeat accuracy is ±0.02 mm at 650 mm/s on the 600 kg frame.
